*turns on Agalloch* Vocals, baby! Black metal vocals are so much easier to digest than death metal >_>

Uh..my playlist consists mostly of:
Agalloch
Opeth
Dream Theater
Mahavishnu Orchestra
Haggard
Liquid Tension Experiment
Children of Bodom
Gordian Knot
Meshuggah

And sometimes some simpler music..like..Pantera >_>

And if im not feelin that they i listen to the hard core station on itunes radio (electronica>di.fm hard core. TECHNO FTW) and then for the more sad days i listen to some Taking Back sunday. I am! Been a massive Black Metal fan since it's inception in the '80's with Venom and on through Bathory, Abrubtum, Marduk, Mayhem and the rest of the Scandinavian scene. Infact I actually saw Euronymous perform with Abrubtum in Trondheim before his sad and untimely death at the hands of the traitor.

Hey black metal fans, I love you dearly.

I'm going to have to check out some of the names mentioned for sure... (copies to text document). I'm a bit of a black metal newbie, no way near as hardcore into it as some people I've met...

Must hear black metal music for Guild Wars (and music surrounding the black metal genre), as follows;

Arch Enemy, Borknagr, Dimmu Borgir, Cradle of Filth (yes yes, don't care, still love 'em), In Flames, the already mentioned Children of Bodom, Naragoth, Bloodbath (Opeth dudes side project), Opeth (of course), Satyricon, Cryptopsy (more death I guess)...

They're the bands that sit in the front of my mind.

Then there's always the classic tracks by The Haunted, Vader and Shadows Fall.

... ahh, the wealth of music that exists.

FYI, Delta Goodrum? You make me sick! Haha, joking. Gave up music elite-ism almost a year ago.

Depends on where I am and what I'm playing, anything from metallica, nighwish, darkseed, the herd, wishbone ash... and... whatever happens to be playing on my b/f's comp at the time (drowning out my own music)

Methinks Opeth is more of a Progressive Death Metal, seeing that it's more of a roar than a high-pitched whisper from Akerfeldt.

Nice list, Kraan. I see the Beach Boys in there =D
